PD Music is the creation of myself, Paul Doolan - composer, keyboardist and performing artist based in Newcastle, Australia. I have a love of technology which has continued from the 8-bit games of the 80s through to the interactivity of mobile apps and social media today.

A classically trained pianist, I completed an Honours Degree in Marketing and Enterprise in 2000 and have since worked with some of the largest organisations in Australia. At the same time I have recorded and performed with members of James Morrison's swing band, played live to air on JJJ (Australia wide broadcaster), and played such legendary venues as the Metro in Sydney, the Round Midnight Club in Kings Cross, the Swiss Grand in Bondi, as well as Newcastle mainstays like the Star Hotel, Cambridge, and The Brewery.

Composition highlights to date include working with Roxy Europe, Toyota Australia, Deakin University and Agimat Comics in California. 

As office life is far from enough to keep me sane, PD Music allows me to work as a composer with others to communicate through music what can be difficult to express through vision or words alone.
